TEXT MESSAGE COMMUNICATIONS
These SMS Terms & Conditions govern text message communications from Palmetto Compliance & Testing (“PCT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By providing your mobile telephone number and opting in to receive SMS communications from PCT, you consent to receive text messages related to your appointments, requested services, inquiries, and other communications described below.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services from Palmetto Compliance & Testing.
TYPES OF SMS MESSAGES
Depending on your interaction with PCT, text messages may include:
Appointment confirmations and reminders
Scheduling or rescheduling information
Appointment preparation instructions
Service-related updates
Requests for information needed to complete a service
Payment-related notifications or instructions
Responses to client inquiries
Follow-up communications related to services you requested
Employer-directed appointment or collection communications, when applicable
CONSENT TO RECEIVE SMS MESSAGES
You may opt in to receive SMS messages by providing your mobile number and affirmatively consenting through an applicable website form, scheduling form, intake form, or other approved opt-in method.
By opting in, you confirm that you are authorized to use the mobile number provided and agree to receive applicable text messages from Palmetto Compliance & Testing at that number.
Consent applies only to communications from PCT and does not authorize unrelated third parties to send you marketing messages.
MESSAGE FREQUENCY
Message frequency varies depending on your appointments, services, inquiries, and interactions with PCT.
Clients with scheduled appointments may receive appointment-related messages before or after their appointment, along with additional messages when necessary to communicate changes, instructions, or requested service information.
PCT does not guarantee a specific number of messages.
MESSAGE & DATA RATES
Message and data rates may apply.
Charges associated with receiving or sending SMS messages are determined by your wireless carrier and mobile service plan. Palmetto Compliance & Testing is not responsible for charges imposed by your wireless carrier.
HOW TO OPT OUT
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to a text message from Palmetto Compliance & Testing.
After submitting an opt-out request, you may receive a final confirmation message acknowledging that you have been unsubscribed. After that confirmation, you will no longer receive applicable SMS messages unless you subsequently opt in again.
Opting out of SMS does not cancel an appointment, service, payment obligation, or other agreement with PCT. When necessary, PCT may communicate with you through another available method regarding an existing appointment, transaction, or service.

PRIVACY & MOBILE INFORMATION
Palmetto Compliance & Testing respects the privacy of individuals who communicate with us by text message.
Mobile telephone numbers, SMS opt-in information, and SMS consent information are not sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
PCT may use service providers that assist with delivering, managing, or supporting our SMS communications. Mobile information may be provided to these service providers only as reasonably necessary to facilitate communications or provide related technology services on PCT's behalf.
Information submitted or received through SMS may also be used as reasonably necessary to manage appointments, provide requested services, respond to inquiries, maintain appropriate business records, or comply with applicable requirements.

WIRELESS CARRIER & MESSAGE DELIVERY
SMS message delivery is subject to the availability and operation of wireless networks and telecommunications providers. Palmetto Compliance & Testing cannot guarantee that every message will be delivered or received within a particular timeframe.
PCT is not responsible for delayed, undelivered, or misdirected messages caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including wireless carrier issues, network availability, device settings, incorrect telephone numbers, or other telecommunications-related conditions.
Supported carriers and messaging availability may vary.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR MOBILE NUMBER
By opting in to receive SMS messages, you represent that you are authorized to use the mobile telephone number provided to Palmetto Compliance & Testing.
You are responsible for providing an accurate and current mobile number. If your telephone number changes, is reassigned, or is no longer under your control, please notify PCT or opt out of SMS communications.
Clients should avoid sending highly sensitive personal, financial, testing, identification, or medical information by text message unless specifically instructed to do so through an appropriate communication method.
PCT may use alternative communication methods when text messaging is unavailable or inappropriate for the information being communicated.
CHANGES TO SMS TERMS & CONDITIONS
Palmetto Compliance & Testing may update these SMS Terms & Conditions periodically to reflect changes in our messaging practices, services, technology, legal or regulatory requirements, or business operations.
Updated terms will be posted on our website with a revised Last Updated date.
Continued participation in PCT's SMS program after applicable changes become effective is subject to the updated terms. Where additional consent is required, PCT will obtain it as appropriate.
