PRICING & POLICIES

CLEAR PRICING. STRAIGHTFORWARD POLICIES.

Palmetto Compliance & Testing is committed to providing clear information about service pricing, payments, scheduling, cancellations, and other policies that may apply to your appointment.

Prices vary by service and may be affected by laboratory requirements, additional participants or specimens, mobile service requests, after-hours scheduling, third-party charges, or other service-specific needs. The price displayed at booking reflects the selected service and applicable options known at that time.

Please review the following policies before scheduling or purchasing services.

Effective Date: August 30, 2026
Last Updated: August 30, 2026

SERVICE PRICING

Current pricing for services available for online booking is displayed on the applicable service or scheduling page.

Pricing may vary based on the type of testing or service requested, number of participants, testing panel, specimen type, laboratory requirements, screening components, mobile location, expedited requests, or other service-specific factors.

Services requiring customized arrangements may not display a fixed price online. In these situations, PCT will provide applicable pricing or payment instructions after reviewing the service request.

Additional services requested after the original booking may result in additional charges.

Prices are subject to change. Pricing confirmed and paid for an existing appointment will not be changed solely because PCT later updates its standard advertised price.

PAYMENT POLICY

Payment is due in full at the time of booking for applicable services unless other arrangements have been approved by Palmetto Compliance & Testing.

Appointments requiring payment are not considered fully secured until the required payment has been successfully processed.

PCT accepts available payment methods through its approved payment-processing systems. Clients are responsible for ensuring that payment information provided is accurate and authorized for use.

Additional services, testing, laboratory work, confirmations, upgrades, travel charges, or other fees requested or required after the original booking may require a separate payment.

Complimentary consultations and certain employer-directed services may not require payment at the time of booking. This does not mean that subsequent testing, screening, laboratory services, or other services are provided at no charge.

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

Clients may cancel or reschedule an eligible appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment time, subject to any service-specific restrictions.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours of the appointment may be treated as late cancellations and may not qualify for a refund, credit, or transfer of payment.

When possible, appointment changes should be made through the scheduling system using the link provided in the appointment confirmation. Clients may also contact PCT for assistance.

Rescheduling does not necessarily change or extend laboratory, agency, employer, court, or other third-party deadlines associated with a service.

LATE ARRIVALS

Clients are encouraged to arrive approximately 10 minutes before their scheduled appointment with all required identification, documentation, participants, and other items needed for the service.

Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may need to be rescheduled if there is insufficient time to properly complete the service without affecting other scheduled appointments.

Rescheduling due to late arrival may be subject to the applicable cancellation, rescheduling, or additional-fee policies. PCT cannot guarantee same-day accommodation for late arrivals.

NO-SHOW POLICY

A client is considered a no-show when they fail to appear for a scheduled appointment without providing the required advance notice.

Payments associated with a no-show appointment may be forfeited and may not be eligible for refund or transfer. A new appointment and payment may be required before service can be provided.

PCT reserves reasonable discretion when documented emergencies or exceptional circumstances occur; however, an exception is not guaranteed.

REFUND POLICY

Refund eligibility depends on the type of service requested and the processing status of that service.

Services that have already been performed, ordered, submitted, processed, or sent to a laboratory, screening provider, or other third-party provider are nonrefundable.

If a cancellation is made within the permitted cancellation period and no service, laboratory order, screening request, third-party processing, or other nonrefundable expense has begun, the payment may be eligible for a refund or credit, subject to the applicable service terms.

Fees associated with completed collections, consultations, fingerprinting, notarizations, mobile travel, expedited requests, after-hours services, or other services already provided are nonrefundable.

Approved refunds are returned through the applicable payment method or payment processor and may require additional processing time before appearing in the client's account.

Please note: Canceling an appointment does not automatically result in a refund. Refund eligibility is determined separately based on the service and its processing status.

LABORATORY & THIRD-PARTY FEES

Certain PCT services involve independent laboratories, background screening providers, Medical Review Officers, government agencies, or other third-party providers.

Once a laboratory test, background screening search, confirmation test, DNA analysis, or other third-party service has been ordered, submitted, or initiated, associated charges may become nonrefundable.

Additional laboratory or third-party charges may apply when a service requires confirmation testing, additional analysis, additional participants or specimens, specialized testing, supplemental searches, shipping, agency processing, or other services outside the original booking.

When an additional charge is required, PCT will provide payment instructions as appropriate before proceeding when circumstances allow.

RECOLLECTIONS, REPEAT TESTING & ADDITIONAL SERVICES

Occasionally, a specimen may need to be recollected or a service may need to be repeated because of insufficient specimen quantity, specimen quality, laboratory requirements, documentation issues, participant circumstances, testing requirements, or other factors.

Whether an additional fee applies depends on the reason the recollection or repeat service is required.

If recollection or repeat service is required because of circumstances outside PCT's control, additional collection, laboratory, shipping, mobile, or other applicable fees may apply.

Additional testing, confirmation, expanded panels, additional DNA participants, supplemental background searches, additional fingerprint cards, additional notarial acts, or other services not included in the original purchase will be charged separately when applicable.

MOBILE SERVICE & TRAVEL FEES

Mobile services are available for select services and locations and are subject to scheduling availability.

Mobile or travel fees are separate from the underlying testing, collection, notarial, fingerprinting, or other service fee unless specifically stated otherwise.

Travel fees may vary based on distance, location, travel time, parking or access requirements, number of participants, service type, and other circumstances associated with the appointment.

Additional charges may apply for locations outside PCT's standard service area, extended travel, multiple locations, large groups, special access requirements, or other customized mobile-service arrangements.

Mobile service availability is not guaranteed until the appointment and applicable travel arrangements have been confirmed.

AFTER-HOURS, WEEKEND & SPECIAL REQUESTS

Appointments requested outside PCT's standard business hours, on weekends when special scheduling is required, or on an urgent or same-day basis may be subject to additional fees and availability.

After-hours, weekend, emergency, expedited, or priority fees are charged in addition to the underlying service price unless specifically stated otherwise.

Payment of an additional scheduling or priority fee does not guarantee laboratory results, government processing, background screening results, or other third-party processing by a specific date or time.

Availability for special scheduling requests is not guaranteed and must be confirmed by PCT.

TURNAROUND TIMES & RESULTS

Any turnaround time provided by Palmetto Compliance & Testing is an estimate unless specifically stated otherwise.

Turnaround times may vary based on the service requested, specimen type, laboratory processing, confirmation testing, background screening searches, participant availability, shipping or courier schedules, third-party processing, agency requirements, holidays, or other circumstances outside PCT's control.

Estimated turnaround time generally begins once all required specimens, documentation, authorizations, and other necessary information have been received and the applicable service has been submitted for processing.

PCT does not guarantee that laboratory results, screening reports, agency processing, or other third-party results will be completed by a specific date unless such a guarantee has been expressly provided in writing.

Clients should avoid making legal, employment, travel, court, immigration, or other time-sensitive commitments based solely on an estimated completion date.

DRUG TESTING & CONFIRMATION TESTING

Drug testing requirements, specimen types, testing panels, collection procedures, and reporting processes vary depending on whether the test is DOT-regulated, Non-DOT, employer-directed, laboratory-based, or a rapid screening service.

Clients and employers are responsible for selecting or providing the appropriate testing requirements when applicable. Employer-directed donors should bring any authorization, donor pass, ePassport, or other testing documentation provided by their employer or testing program.

Rapid drug screening results are considered preliminary screening results. A non-negative rapid screening result should not be treated as a laboratory-confirmed positive result without appropriate confirmation testing.

Laboratory confirmation or additional testing may result in additional fees and increased turnaround time.

DOT-regulated testing is performed according to applicable federal procedures and must not be substituted with a Non-DOT or rapid screening service when DOT testing is required.

DNA TESTING POLICIES

DNA testing requirements vary depending on the biological relationship being evaluated and whether results are intended for personal knowledge, legal or official purposes, or an immigration-related matter.

Non-legal DNA testing is generally intended for personal or informational purposes and does not use the formal chain-of-custody procedures required for legal testing.

DNA testing intended for court, government, or other official purposes may require identity verification, documentation, witnessed collection, chain-of-custody procedures, and other requirements.

Immigration DNA cases may involve additional laboratory, agency, documentation, collection, and reporting requirements. Clients seeking immigration-related DNA services should complete the appropriate consultation and follow the instructions applicable to their case.

The participants required for relationship testing may vary. In some cases, including additional biological relatives may be recommended to support the appropriate relationship analysis.

Laboratory fees, additional participants, specialized specimens, recollections, additional reports, legal testing requirements, shipping, or other services may result in additional charges when applicable.

DNA testing establishes or evaluates biological relationships according to the testing performed. PCT does not guarantee a particular result or the acceptance or outcome of any court, government, immigration, custody, child-support, or other proceeding.

BACKGROUND SCREENING POLICIES

Background screening services may include criminal-record searches, employment-related screening, motor vehicle records, identity-related searches, professional screening components, or other searches selected or authorized for the applicable request.

The scope, availability, price, and turnaround time of a background screening may vary based on the jurisdictions searched, records requested, third-party provider requirements, court or agency access, and other factors.

Additional jurisdictional, court, state, county, verification, access, or third-party fees may apply when a requested search requires services beyond those included in the original package.

Background screening information is dependent on records and information available from the applicable sources and providers. PCT does not guarantee that every record or piece of information about an individual will be available or identified through a particular search.

Employment-purpose background screening may be subject to the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and other applicable federal, state, or local requirements. Employers are responsible for complying with requirements applicable to their use of screening information, including appropriate disclosure, authorization, and employment-decision procedures where required.

PCT does not make hiring, termination, promotion, housing, licensing, or other eligibility decisions on behalf of the organization requesting a screening unless expressly agreed and legally permitted.

FINGERPRINTING POLICIES

Palmetto Compliance & Testing provides fingerprinting services using the fingerprint card and collection method associated with the service selected at booking.

Clients are responsible for confirming the fingerprinting requirements of the requesting agency or organization, including the required card type, number of cards, ORI or other agency information, and any special instructions.

PCT cannot guarantee that a requesting agency will accept a fingerprint card when requirements or instructions were not provided to PCT or when the agency requires a different fingerprinting method.

Additional fingerprint cards, repeat appointments, mobile service, after-hours service, or other requested services may result in additional charges.

Please note: PCT's currently advertised FD-258 fingerprinting service is an ink fingerprint-card service and is not Live Scan electronic fingerprinting.

NOTARY POLICIES

Notarial services are provided in accordance with applicable South Carolina requirements. The signer must personally appear before the notary when required and provide satisfactory identification as applicable to the requested notarial act.

Documents should be complete and ready for notarization, except for signatures or other portions that must be completed in the presence of the notary.

PCT and its notary personnel do not provide legal advice, select legal documents, prepare legal documents unless otherwise legally authorized, or advise clients regarding the legal effect of a document.

The notary may decline to perform a notarization when legal requirements cannot be satisfied, the signer's identity cannot be satisfactorily established, required individuals are not present, or other circumstances prevent the notarial act from being properly completed.

Notary fees are based on the applicable notarial service. Mobile travel, after-hours, weekend, emergency, additional notarial acts, or other services may carry separate charges.

I-9 EMPLOYMENT ELIGIBILITY VERIFICATION

PCT may provide Form I-9 verification support as an authorized representative when requested by an employer.

The employee is responsible for presenting acceptable documentation in accordance with applicable Form I-9 requirements. PCT does not select which specific documents an employee must present and does not advise an employee which particular document to provide.

When acting as an employer's authorized representative, PCT completes the applicable verification steps based on the employer's instructions and the documentation presented.

The employer remains responsible for its Form I-9 compliance obligations and for determining employment eligibility as required by applicable law.

PCT does not provide legal or immigration advice through its I-9 verification service.

EMPLOYER ACCOUNTS & EMPLOYER-DIRECTED SERVICES

Employers and organizations may contact PCT regarding recurring testing, screening, mobile services, employer-directed collections, account arrangements, or other workforce compliance needs.

Employer-directed employees or donors should bring any authorization, donor pass, ePassport, testing instructions, or other documentation provided by their employer, C/TPA, or testing program.

Employer pricing, consolidated billing, payment terms, mobile arrangements, service requirements, and other account terms may differ from standard individual client pricing and may be established separately between PCT and the employer.

Complimentary employer consultations do not include laboratory testing, screening, collections, or other paid services unless expressly stated.

Employers are responsible for establishing and administering their workplace policies and complying with laws and regulations applicable to their testing, screening, employment, and compliance programs.

PAYMENT DISPUTES & CHARGEBACKS

Clients who believe there is an error involving a PCT charge are encouraged to contact Palmetto Compliance & Testing promptly so that the matter can be reviewed.

PCT maintains appointment, payment, authorization, communication, and service records as appropriate and may provide relevant documentation to its payment processor or financial institution when responding to a payment dispute or chargeback.

Filing a payment dispute does not automatically establish eligibility for a refund. Refund eligibility remains subject to the applicable service, cancellation, processing, and refund policies.

PCT reserves the right to restrict future online payments or services when permitted and reasonably appropriate following unresolved payment disputes, fraudulent transactions, or misuse of payment services.

POLICY CHANGES & CONTACT INFORMATION

Palmetto Compliance & Testing may update its pricing, services, scheduling requirements, fees, and policies periodically to reflect changes in business operations, laboratory or third-party costs, regulatory requirements, or other circumstances.

Updated policies will be posted on the PCT website with a revised Last Updated date. Changes to advertised pricing generally apply prospectively and do not, by themselves, alter the confirmed price of an existing paid appointment unless the client subsequently requests additional or different services.

Service-specific requirements, consent forms, laboratory documents, employer instructions, or other applicable terms may supplement these general policies.

IDENTIFICATION, DOCUMENTS & PARTICIPANT REQUIREMENTS

Clients are responsible for bringing the identification, documentation, authorization, participants, specimens or items, and other information required for their scheduled service.

Requirements vary by service and may include a valid, non-expired government-issued photo ID, employer authorization or donor documentation, case information, agency instructions, parent or legal guardian authorization, or other service-specific documents.

If required information, identification, documentation, participants, or items are unavailable at the appointment, PCT may be unable to complete the service and rescheduling may be necessary.

Additional fees may apply when another appointment, collection, shipment, laboratory service, or other service is required as a result.

By scheduling, purchasing, or receiving services from Palmetto Compliance & Testing, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review the policies applicable to your service. Additional service-specific consent, authorization, laboratory, employer, agency, or regulatory requirements may also apply.
