Appointment Requirements

Refusal to Test

Refund POLICY

Due to the nature of laboratory and collection services, refunds are limited once services have been initiated.

Non-Refundable Services

  • Mobile travel fees

  • Administrative processing

  • Completed testing services

Appointment Deposits

Deposits for mobile or special appointments may be forfeited for:

  • No-shows

  • Late cancellations

Billing Disputes

Clients must report billing concerns promptly. Fraudulent charge disputes after services have been rendered may result in collection actions or denial future services.

LEGAL DNA TESTING POLICIES

Legal DNA testing services follow strict chain of custody procedures to maintain court admissibility standards.

Identification Requirements

All testing parties must provide valid government-issued identification at the time of collection. Minor children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Chain of Custody Procedures

Legal DNA testing requires:

At-home or self-collected samples cannot be accepted for legal DNA testing purposes.

Palmetto Compliance & Testing provides DOT and non-DOT testing services in accordance with applicable testing procedures and industry standards.

DOT Collections

DOT drug and alcohol testing collections are performed in accordance with applicable federal collection procedures and regulations.

Donor Verification

Collectors may verify donor identity and complete all required collection documentation prior to specimen collection.

Observed Collections

Observed collections may be required in situations permitted or mandated by applicable regulations or employer policies.

Employer Responsibility

Employers remain responsible for:

Reporting Procedures

Results may be released to authorized employer representatives, designated contacts, Medical Review Officers (MROs), or other authorized parties as applicable.
