At Palmetto Compliance & Testing, our Non-Legal DNA Testing, also known as Peace of Mind DNA Testing, provides individuals and families with a confidential and accurate way to determine biological relationships for personal knowledge purposes.

Unlike legal DNA testing, non-legal testing does not follow a court-required chain-of-custody process, meaning the results are intended strictly for personal use and cannot be used for legal matters such as child support, custody cases, birth certificated changes, immigration, or other court proceedings.

Sample collections is quick, simple, and non-invasive, typically involving a painless cheek (buccal) swab from each participant. The collection processes is performed professional to help ensure accurate and reliable results while maintaining comfort and convenience for all individuals involved.

Once samples are collected, they are submitted to certified laboratory for DNA analysis using advanced testing methods and strict quality control standards. Results are processed confidentially and delivered securely within the standard laboratory turnaround timeframe.

Cancellation Policy

All appointment cancellation are non-refundable. Appointments may be rescheduled if the request is made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. Reschedule requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment will be subject to a $50.00 rescheduling fee. Clients who fail to appear for their appointment without notice (“no call, no show”) will be required to pay for a new test appointment.
