At Palmetto Compliance & Testing, our Legal DNA Testing service provides accurate, court-admissible results used to establish biological relationships for official and legal purposes.

Legal DNA testing is commonly used in cases such as child support determinations, custody and visitation proceedings, birth certificate amendments, inheritance claims, immigration and citizenship applications, and other court-related matters where verified proof of biological relationship is required.

Samples are typically collected using a simple cheek (buccal) swab from each tested individual. Once collected, all specimens are carefully documented, sealed, and sent to an accredited laboratory for analysis under strict quality and compliance standards. Results are reviewed and verified to ensure accuracy and legal admissibility.

Cancellation Policy

All appointment cancellation are non-refundable. Appointments may be rescheduled if the request is made at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time. Reschedule requests made less than 24 hours before the appointment will be subject to a $50.00 rescheduling fee. Clients who fail to appear for their appointment without notice (“no call, no show”) will be required to pay for a new test appointment.
